Katuna Sadzaglishvili - A Journey to Unexpected Joy: My Story

Hello,

I am Khatuna, the assistant to the director of the Theater of Young Spectators. Life is full of surprises, and one such surprise led me to the charming village of Ninotsminda in the Sagarejo district.

Let me start from the beginning. I hail from Tbilisi, a city dweller through and through, and my family never owned a country house. Yet, we always yearned for one, a place where we could escape the city's hustle and bustle.

Ten years ago, fate guided us to the village of Ninotsminda, nestled in the Sagarejo district. We were searching for a country home close to Tbilisi, where we could immerse ourselves in nature and tranquility. We found exactly what we needed—a place where all our dreams could take root.

My daughter and I were instantly captivated by the area. We poured our hearts into transforming our newfound home. We built, demolished, repaired, and remodeled, creating a unique and charming house that felt like a haven to us.

And what is Kakheti without wine? We couldn't resist the allure of winemaking. Thus, we planted a vineyard, specifically with the French-origin vine, Pinot. This vine, our pride and joy, inspired the name of our winery—"Pinosonata."

Picture this: a mother and son, born and raised in the heart of Sololaki, now tending to their beloved vineyard with the utmost care. We've learned the art of pruning, weeding, tying, and eventually harvesting the grapes. The culmination of our efforts is the wine we pour, a creation that washes away the world's vanities and instills a sense of peace and fulfillment.

Words cannot fully capture the joy and satisfaction we derive from this endeavor. It is an experience best lived rather than described. I invite you to visit us and witness the beauty of our vineyard and the fruits of our labor.

With love,

Khatuna
