Labor is a professional union of employees in agriculture, trade and industry of Georgia. Labor instituted 3 days of paid menstrual leave per month for female employees.
Labor's women's caucus is launching a legislative initiative to legislate additional paid period leave. In order to understand the mood of the public, research and consultations with experts in various fields are underway. Negotiations with the social partners are starting so that as many companies as possible can develop similar policies before the law comes into effect.
