"A person is a day for a person"—this phrase evokes deep emotions, especially as it directly reflects our mission. Each selfless blood donation grants a new day to a patient in need.
The primary goal of our organization is to collect blood from generous donors, and to achieve this, we have established a comprehensive donor base ready to respond swiftly in critical moments. When the formal system falters, human compassion and self-organization often emerge as the most effective solutions.
We serve as mediators between patients and donors, fully dedicated to the needs of patients. Our process begins when we receive a request for a specific blood type. We then send a questionnaire to the patient's relatives to gather detailed information. Next, we reach out to potential donors, ensuring they meet the prerequisites for blood donation. Only after these steps do we provide donors with the necessary details on where and for whom the blood should be donated. We do not limit ourselves to a single donation site; instead, we direct donors to various locations as needed.
While the number of donors and lives saved are impressive, the true joy of our work lies in the feedback from our donors. Knowing you are not alone in this mission, feeling the support of complete strangers who trust you and stand by you in the life-saving effort, is one of the purest expressions of human love.
Another immense joy is witnessing the gratitude and joy of life from patients. We respect our donors' privacy, but if they consent, we connect them with the patients' families, allowing for personal thanks and heartfelt appreciation.
At the end of each day, as we assist dozens of patients and connect with countless donors, we realize we are spreading selfless love. This love fuels our dedication to this work—six women, balancing our own careers and lives, united in this cause.
For me, the love for this work, my team members, the anonymous heroes, and the people fighting for their lives is profound and indescribable. The narrative that began with our founding continues to be the best testament to our mission. If it weren't for this journey, we would have been weighed down by countless burdens. Our love for others has been our guiding light, lifting us to where we stand today.
